Joyce is the Managing Director for Kweza Holdings Limited (KHL), a specialized management-owned boutique firm that facilitates identifying and supporting inclusive businesses. The focus involves women and youth entrepreneurs, supporting them with training and development of nascent companies through the identification, packaging provision of financial, material, and technical resources, facilitating access to finance, and closure of a diversity of debt, equity, and blended finance transactions, while supporting the development of inclusive business models that integrate innovative start-ups, Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
She is a pre-qualified Transaction Advisory Service Provider (TASP) under the Investment Support Facility (ISF) Project under Agricultural Transformation Initiative (ATI). The project which commenced in 2019 is a three-year project that provides support to TASPs such as KHL to facilitate commercially-oriented and commercially viable, impact-driven transactions (supporting smallholder farmers, MSE, SME and female inclusive value chains) from inception to closure for client investees (Malawian firms seeking finance/investment for business expansion or improvement) or client investors (Commercial banks, Development Finance Institutions, impact, and private equity investors, firms or other entities looking to invest in Malawi).
She previously worked at the senior management level in corporate and investment banking, business and product development, credit, and marketing in local and global financial institutions in Malawi for over 15 years.
She sits on the board of the International Women's Association of Malawi, a group of around 120 women from various backgrounds and over 20 countries, including our host country Malawi. We support various projects and initiatives impacting women, children, and youth around Malawi. She also sits on the board of Malawians Health Initiative, an organization of local Malawians and Malawians in the diaspora working collectively to contribute toward improving the healthcare systems in Malawi and ensuring that the Malawian population has access to quality healthcare.

Joyce has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Science from the Cyprus Institute of Marketing.
